Life in Bloom: Staying Close to What’s Growing
"Growth follows light." - Andrea Rare
Mid spring blessings everyone.
I'm enjoying this soundscape for a pause and welcome you to take it in.
Oceano- Sat Chit. To breathe. Ground. Feel. Return.
Somewhere between the push and the pause—
there’s practice.
May carries these qualities:
the fire that’s building
and the invitation to rest into it.
Seeds have inevitably sparked in your worlds.
What sproutlings are most meant to grow?
What’s asking for your attention to stay?
This season isn’t about doing more—
it’s about tending what’s already here.
Staying close.
Refining where your energy goes.
Midweek is where we practice that—
meeting the energy, the fatigue, the tending.
In yoga, this looks like tapas (steady effort),
saucha (clearing what’s not needed),
and brahmacharya (right use of energy)—
not as concepts, but as lived rhythm. Your rhythm.
"oubaitori" - the idea that people, like flowers, bloom in their own time, and that each of us is on our own unique path. It's a soft acceptance of not needing to compare, and instead honoring the rhythm that's yours alone.
Taurus season invites us to slow down enough
to feel, enliven, infuse with what’s actually growing…
and to care for it.
When out of balance, digging in the heels, stubborn qualities of fire with no place to go can burn within. Your work is to direct that flame.
Balancing fire with rest,
movement with stillness,
connection with space in between.
This is the practice I’ve been living and sharing lately within the Heart Spring Health and Online communities. It’s been deeply nourishing to connect in small, meaningful ways—one breath, one connection, one practice at a time. Trauma-informed, wholehearted practice with presence.
There’s a wide range of therapeutic offerings unfolding there right now—from strength and functional yoga and Pilates to sound baths, movement practices, and nervous system support, including small group spaces for chronic pain and hypermobility. If you or someone in your world is needing that kind of support, it’s a gentle place to explore.
The days grow longer, the season warms, its a time to lighten the body and clear away the heaviness. Channeling your vital life force into your passions, your service, your precious life.
If you’re in need—
space to regulate, strengthen, soften, and be in it together—
I’d love to see you. To clear and let your light shine.
