Replenish with Earth, Breath & Connection

Replenish with Earth, Breath & Connection
I will prepare for the journey ahead by pacing myself one day at a time. — Morgan Harper Nichols

Good evening dear friends,

As always, let this read be an opportunity to pause, soften your gaze, bring an alert and relaxed quality to your posture as you listen within. Take a steady breath in. Release fully with your exhale.

Offerings shared further below, and I welcome you to listen and relax into this read. Take what serves, and leave the rest.

This week’s Coming Home playlist addition is Soul of the Sea- Claire Michelle & Eternal Heart - a track that beautifully echoes the watery energy of the full moon in Pisces — as Grace Selene shared, a Blood Moon Eclipse that is hauntingly healing.

The full moon over the weekend shimmered against Virgo’s grounding sun — a reminder that amidst the waves of service, responsibility, and change, we can return to steadiness, simplicity, and connection.

Calm seas may bring you peace, but storms are where you’ll find your power. — @spiritdaughter

Like the tides, I too have felt volatility— emotionally, energetically, and physically. When sharing in community at Yoyogi this weekend, the “How are you?” responses were in raw honesty — struggles and sweetness, shifts and satya (truthfulness). This authenticity reflects me, and inspires me. Waters of sincerity, truthfulness, and trust continue to rise, when 'happy' or 'okay' are not enough from our integrity of self.

In making space, cleaning and cooking, the responsibilities and the in-betweens, the deeper lesson is Santosha (contentment) and remembering is we don't have to do everything at once. Rest and pause, space and time are sacred.

Over my birthday weekend — after a full week exploring new rhythms and commitments — I uncovered a tenderness within I couldn’t quite name. Saucha was the call. From the Yoga Almanac: “Saucha is to fine tune & polish the soul.”

Yoga therapy, tending my space, pausing outside in soft rain, and walking in the woods with my dog helped me remember what I needed most: permission to “let me have me.” To replenish prana through Earth, breath, and connection. Tenderness and time.

The gift is to notice, and then gently return. Earth welcomes us home.

Go back and take care of yourself. Your body needs you, your feelings need you, your perceptions need you. The wounded child in you needs you. Your suffering needs you to acknowledge it. Go home and be there for all these things. Practice mindful breathing. Do everything in mindfulness so you can really be there, so you can love. - Thich Nhat Hanh.

Free Practices to Support You

In the spirit of Saucha (purifying) and Santosha (contentment), I’m sharing two ways to restore prana on your own this week:

✨ Energetic Reset & Centering Breath | Bhastrika - a 9-minute guided practice with gentle inquiry into Saucha.
Watch & Practice Here

🌙 Waterfall Pose (Viparita Karani) — a simple, supported inversion to soothe the nervous system and reset circulation. Take a midday rest or wind down before bed with. Pair with this track for deep rest: 🎶 Healing Sleep — Nu Meditation Music
Settle in, cover your eyes, allow the mind & body to soften and let the mantra guide you: In Here — Out clear.

Reflections from Virgo Season & the Gunas

Virgo teaches refinement and discernment, whilst the gunas reflect the nervous system to remind us of balance. Too much rajas (movement) or tamas (dulling) can scatter or deplete us. Here- the invitation to uncomplicate life — not to strip it of richness, but to polish and clarify what matters most. To let go of what scatters us so we can focus on what steadies. To gathering our resources and replenish our reserves.

Let yourself love into
Earth. Breath. Connection.
To that which is
Simple. Spacious. Soft & Strong.

Together, these weeks have been a cycle of harvest, refine, replenish — as shared in my past writings:

May we continue to revisit and deepen our resolve, welcoming practices that restore prana, balance, and clarity.
