Hello dear friends,

Wholehearted Tuesday to you.

This morning’s Embodied Yoga Therapy practice, along with a sunny, brisk walk in nature with Koba, offered such a simple reminder of the power of connection — to one another, to the body and its wisdom, and to the living world around us.

As late winter continues to soften and kapha (earth & water elements) season comes into view, there’s a gentle invitation to tend and unthaw:
to settle the nervous system without dulling our fire,
to bring lightness to heavy places,
and to support circulation, warmth, and steady rhythm.

From the heart this month, the practices and spaces I’m holding are unfolding toward tending the second chakra — Svādhiṣṭhāna — not only our right to feel, but the bravery to feel: our emotions, our nervous system responses, and the wisdom they carry when we truly listen. It is the element of water, and the seat of the self.
Svad | self . Water in winter, anchored in the heart — this is what’s resonating as we move through practices at present.

Even small shifts matter this time of year — rising a little earlier, getting outside no matter the weather, singing, humming or chant- moving the body with warming practices and tending rest without slipping into stagnation.
Heart as anchor. Light as companion. Connection as medicine.

I would love to welcome you into classes over these coming weeks. Wellness Wednesday is tomorrow both online & therapeutic afternoon practices at Heart Spring. Later this week Friday Flow, and while Saturday is booked, calendar is open for online and shared in-person. These spaces are here for your wellness, your nervous system, and your vitality and your heart. To being reminded that we don’t need to do this alone.
